Information we collect

When you request guest-list access, we may collect names, phone number, email address, event selection, verification status and request history. We also collect anonymous site-usage statistics such as pages viewed, visit date, referring website and broad device type. A first-party cookie distinguishes new and returning browsers; it does not contain your name, email address or phone number, and we do not store your IP address for these statistics. Administrators may also connect the official Istanbul Guestlist Facebook Page and Instagram Business account to publish event content.

How we use it

We use this information to verify requests, coordinate with event teams, send request updates, prevent abuse, provide support, understand site performance and publish event announcements to the official Istanbul Guestlist channels. We do not sell personal information.

Meta platform data

Meta authorization is used only to identify the Page-linked Instagram Business account and publish event media and captions approved by an Istanbul Guestlist administrator. Access credentials are protected and are not shared with guests or advertisers.

Storage and retention

Records are retained only as needed to operate the service, maintain request history, understand aggregate traffic, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct or delete information connected to you. You can reset the anonymous browser identifier by clearing this site’s cookies. You may also revoke the Meta connection from Facebook or Instagram settings. See our data deletion instructions.
